People sending feedback through the widget

When you submit the feedback form on a website using Feedback Hub, we store:

• your message, its type (bug, idea, other) and your optional rating;
• the address of the page you were on, without its query string;
• your browser's user agent and language;
• your email address, only if you typed it and ticked the consent box.

The widget sets no cookie and uses no browser storage. Your IP address is used in memory for a few minutes to prevent abuse and is never written to disk.

Purpose and legal basis

Feedback is collected on behalf of the owner of the website you were visiting, who is the data controller, to improve their product. Feedback Hub acts as a processor. Your email, when given, is used only to reply to your feedback, on the basis of your consent.

Account holders

We store your email address and a salted hash of your password, plus a session cookie strictly needed to keep you signed in. Deleting your account erases it together with all your projects and their feedback.

Retention and your rights

Feedback is kept until the website owner deletes it or deletes their project or account. You can ask the website owner to access, correct or erase your feedback at any time.
